definitions and pictures

- contrast is the state of being strikingly different from something else, typically something in juxtaposition or close association.





- Emphasis is stress laid on a word or words to indicate special meaning or particular importance.




Balance is an even distribution of weight enabling someone or something to remain upright and steady.


Proportion is a part, share, or number considered in comparative relation to a whole.



Perspective is the art of drawing solid objects on a two-dimensional surface so as to give the right impression of their height, width, depth, and position in relation to each other when viewed from a particular point.

This week all students will sign up for a blog (an online journal) that will be a personal portfolio of writing, artwork and examples you admire and have researched.  In order to set up your blog, I'd first like you to go to BLOGGER.COM, and sign up for a new account. 


If you already have a gmail account, then sign into your email first, and (while logged in) sign up for the blogger account.  You will need to come up with a unique name/address for your blog page, and keep track of your log in information.
